BACKGROUND:James 3:13-18 Apostle James compared the wisdom of this world to heavenly wisdom in His writing and the outcome is crystal clear. If you that are filled with envy, hatred, pride and an unforgiving spirit, your wisdom comes from Satan. Do you cheat your friends, your husband/wife? Do you cheat your employers by taking items from the job without
permission? THIS WISDOM IS NOT FROM ABOVE. Compare & contrast worldly wisdom and godly wisdom.

THE SUCCESS ASSOCIATED WITH TRUE WISDOM: Ecclesiastes 10:10; 8:1
1. Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.
2. Wisdom, true wisdom, is foundational for good success in life
There can be no one as powerful as a wise man. “Who is like the wise man? Who else can solve a problem? A man’s wisdom lights up his expression-his stern looks are changed” (Ecclesiastes 8:1) “Wisdom is as precious as an inheritance; it is a blessing for those on whom the sun shines.”
Today, do you have the wisdom of the world, or the wisdom of God? Are you wise
in your own eyes, or in the eyes of God? Notice what God considers to be a wise man:
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: (Matthew 7:24 KJV)
