MEMORY VERSE: Matthew 12:30
BACKGROUND: 1 Corinthians 12:12-14. As a body of Christ we must work together to make things happen because no one is born useless or without potential in the body of Christ.
PEOPLE WHO MAKE THINGS HAPPEN: Matthew 25:14-30
1. They are the pillars of success within the body
2. They are committed to do God’s will
3. They are the generous contributors
4. They are selfless in their sacrifices
5. They are good and faithful servants
6. They are not like the wicked servant did nothing, but harbor resentment against his master
PEOPLE WHO WATCH OTHERS MAKE THINGS HAPPEN: Proverbs 6:6-11.
1. They are uninvolved but they are mere spectators
2. They love to sleep instead of using their potential
3. They are not motivated to do anything
4. They have no concrete plan for their lives
PEOPLE WHO PROCRASTINATE: Ecclesiastes 11:4-6; John 4:34-35.
1. People who are lazy and procrastinate about everything
2. People who love making excuses about difficulties of getting the job done
3. People who love to withhold what is within their power to do
4. People who usually have a “wait and see” attitudes
5. People who are fearful of trying to make investments of their energies to get the job done
